She was recommended by my midwife group, and after our initial interview, I knew she was the right fit to support my husband and me through labor. As a first-time mom, I didn’t know what I didn’t know—but our first meeting with Kassie was incredibly insightful. I actually learned more from her in that one session than I did in my birthing class. After meeting with her, I felt informed, empowered, and truly ready for labor.

When the time came, Kassie guided me through every step. As contractions intensified and she gently moved me through different positions, I remember looking at her with tears in my eyes and saying, “I’m SO glad you’re here.” She was a calming, reassuring presence during what could have been an overwhelming experience. I was so thankful to have her as a resource to help navigate nearly every decision during labor. I truly cannot recommend her enough.

Even postpartum, Kassie continued to offer support. She visited us at home during the first week to review the birth and check in on how we were doing, and she’s remained available by text and phone whenever questions arise. That ongoing connection has meant so much.

If I’m lucky enough to have more children, there’s no doubt—I’ll be hiring Kassie again.
