Kassie's warmth, experience, and grounding presence made me feel safe and cared for throughout my pregnancy and birth journey and beyond into early motherhood. She is deeply knowledgeable about the physiology of birth as well as hospital norms and policies. I gave birth in a hospital and she perfectly filled the role of advocating for me while supporting the nurses and midwives in their work, creating an atmosphere of harmony and teamwork. The prenatal meetings she includes in her doula service provided me with a thorough overview of what to expect and how to build my birth preferences, and when labor actually began she helped me make sense of every factor as my labor and delivery unfolded. Kassie was so responsive and helpful throughout my early postpartum weeks as I navigated some breastfeeding and sleep challenges.
